Singapore Zoo – Top Itinerary to All Singapore Visitors

Singapore Zoo is one of the few in the world adopting open concept. Animals are free to roam with optimum safety measures. It is greatly enjoyed by thousands of visitors including school children, families and animal lovers.

The first ape was rescued from an illegal keeper and she found a new home here. She became a national icon and well loved by every Singaporean. She passed away in year 2008 and left behind two sons, two daughters and six grandchildren. To commemorate her, the zoo intensifies its conversation effort of the endangered animals. In fact, there has been numerous animal conversation projects and efforts such as breeding programs and public education promoting greater awareness in wildlife and environmental issues.

Another close by feature opens daily from 6pm till midnight is Night Safari, located in the northern part of Singapore. It houses species of animals active in the night.
